Gyeonggi-do to Launch "AI-Based Administration Era" Next Year with AI-Powered Document Drafting and Policy Making
Gyeonggi-do is set to usher in the era of "AI-based administration," where artificial intelligence (AI) will be used to draft documents, conduct data searches, and establish policies based on these capabilities. To achieve this, Gyeonggi-do will collaborate with private AI companies and promote the creation of an AI industry ecosystem in which leading AI companies transfer related technologies to small and medium-sized enterprises.
On June 19, Gyeonggi-do held the "Gyeonggi-do and AI Companies Joint Declaration for Win-Win Cooperation" and the kickoff report meeting for the "Gyeonggi Generative AI-Based Innovative Administration Project" at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office.
The event was attended by 14 AI companies, including MT Data, WiseNut, Konan Technology, Daishin Information & Communications, KT, Upstage, AI Works, and PersonaAI, all of which are participating in the project.

Leading AI companies will share their expertise and know-how in areas such as data preprocessing, LLM model integration, and the development of administration-specialized services.
Small and medium-sized enterprises will use the shared technologies and know-how to advance their own technologies, gain business experience and references, and network with other AI companies. Through these efforts, they will seek opportunities to enter new AI markets, expand overseas, and participate in the public sector market.
Gyeonggi-do plans to conduct a pilot operation in November, improve stability and convenience, and officially launch the service in May of next year.
