Bittersweet Pepero... Lotte Wellfood Launches Matcha Desserts in Collaboration with Cheongsudang
Lotte Wellfood X Cheongsudang Collaboration
Introducing Binz, Almond Ball, and Pepero Matcha
Lotte Wellfood has released a limited-edition matcha-flavored product line in collaboration with Cheongsudang, a cafe renowned for its lush urban garden and matcha menu. The "Lotte Wellfood X Cheongsudang" collaboration features three products: "Binz," "Almond Ball," and "Pepero."
The new products are distinguished by their use of matcha made from Jeju green tea leaves, grown under warm sunlight for a soft yet deep flavor. "Binz Premier Matcha" is a dessert that combines a crispy chocolate biscuit with matcha, offering a rich and layered taste. The bittersweetness of the matcha and the sweetness of the chocolate biscuit create a harmonious bittersweet flavor.
"Almond Ball Matcha" features the combination of bittersweet matcha sweetness and whole roasted almonds. Whole California almonds are coated in matcha-flavored sweetness, delivering a refreshing matcha taste and the nuttiness of almonds that spreads throughout the mouth, making it hard to stop eating.
The lineup also includes "Pepero Matcha," which embodies the matcha-inspired sensibility of Cheongsudang. A crispy cacao biscuit is coated with rich matcha, highlighting its bittersweet charm. The sweet cacao biscuit and chocolate cookie chips enhance the matcha flavor, offering a balanced and harmonious blend of matcha and chocolate.
