Gyeonggi Province Offers Up to 500,000 Won Annual Youth Interview Allowance... Applications Open Until July 18
Gyeonggi Province will conduct the "1st Recruitment for the Youth Interview Allowance" until July 18.
The Gyeonggi-do Youth Interview Allowance was first introduced in 2020 to reduce the financial burden of interview expenses for young people and to encourage active job-seeking activities.
Any young resident of Gyeonggi Province listed on the resident registration who participated in an interview after January 1, 2025 (ages 18 to 39, born between January 1, 1985 and December 31, 2007) is eligible to apply, regardless of employment status.
Youths who attended job interviews in December of last year but did not receive the interview allowance are also eligible for retroactive application during this 1st recruitment period only.
Applications can be submitted online through Jobaba Apply (apply.jobaba.net). If selected, applicants will receive 50,000 won in local currency per interview activity, with support available for up to 10 interviews per year.
Applicants who interviewed for part-time jobs of less than 30 hours per week, as well as those who interviewed at overseas companies or at workplaces outside Gyeonggi Province, are also eligible to apply.
However, those currently participating in programs similar to the Gyeonggi-do Youth Interview Allowance, such as unemployment benefits, Gyeonggi Women's Employment Support Fund, or the Youth Job Seeker Transportation Support Program, will be excluded from eligibility.
