In particular, by organizing fam tours and planning themed tourism products, the agency has actively promoted Gyeongbuk's major tourist attractions and has sent many Taiwanese tourists to the region. Notably, this year, the agency has developed and operated two APEC-specialized travel products, contributing to the APEC boom in the area.
This donation is seen as a meaningful act of sharing that goes beyond a longstanding tourism partnership, demonstrating deep affection for Gyeongbuk and solidarity with the local community.
President Kim Namil stated, "We sincerely thank Hwaeun International Travel Agency for their warm-hearted support during this difficult time for Gyeongbuk," and added, "We will continue to work closely with overseas tourism partners to drive the recovery of Gyeongbuk tourism and will actively engage in marketing and exchange activities to attract foreign tourists and revitalize the local economy."
