Busan Veterans Office to Expand 'Culture of Honoring Veterans' with 58th Buil Veterans Awards Ceremony
The Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office (headed by Lee Namil) announced on June 17 that it will hold the '58th Buil Veterans Awards Ceremony' at 3:00 p.m. on June 18 in the main auditorium of the Busan Ilbo headquarters.
This awards ceremony, hosted by the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office and organized by Busan Ilbo, is held annually to discover and encourage exemplary national merit recipients and their bereaved families who have contributed to the development of the local community. The event aims to boost the morale of veterans' families and promote the culture of honoring veterans. This year marks the 58th edition of the ceremony.
Approximately 130 people are expected to attend the event, including Lee Namil, Director of the Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office; Son Youngsin, President of Busan Ilbo; the Director-General of Administration and Autonomy of Busan City; the Chief of Busan Dongbu Police Station; the Director of Busan Veterans Hospital; as well as major guests and families of the award recipients. The ceremony will proceed in the following order: national ceremony, congratulatory remarks, awards presentation, commemorative performance, and group photo. The commemorative performance will be presented by the pop-classical group 'La Luce.'
