Toss Bank Now Supports Mobile Payment of Four Major Social Insurance Premiums
Expansion from Taxes and Public Utility Bills to Four Major Social Insurance Premiums
QR Code Payment Feature to Be Added in the Second Half of the Year
From Inquiry to Payment, All-in-One Service via the Toss Bank App
Toss Bank announced on June 17 that it has partnered with the National Health Insurance Service to introduce a new service that allows users to pay the four major social insurance premiums through the Toss Bank app. Now, users can conveniently check and pay major social insurance premiums?including National Pension, Health Insurance, Employment Insurance, and Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance?individually through the Toss Bank app, just like taxes or public utility bills.
With the launch of this service, Toss Bank is expanding its payment categories to include social insurance premiums, in addition to national taxes, local taxes, treasury funds, and public utility bills, thereby further strengthening its role as a comprehensive payment channel for daily life. Since last year, Toss Bank has gradually expanded its payment services to cover national taxes such as comprehensive income tax and capital gains tax, local taxes such as resident tax and automobile tax, treasury funds such as police fines and penalties, and public utility bills such as water and sewage fees.
The payment process is simple. Customers can enter their electronic payment number in the [All] tab > [Pay Taxes and Bills] menu of the Toss app to instantly check and pay their four major social insurance premiums. In the second half of 2025, a new feature will be added that allows users to scan the QR code printed on their bill for immediate payment.
Toss Bank expects that, since customers no longer need to visit the official website of the relevant agency, the ability to conveniently complete insurance premium payments within the Toss Bank app will improve the overall payment experience. In particular, even with a busy schedule, customers will be able to pay on time without missing deadlines, which is expected to help reduce late or missed payments in a practical way.
