The All-Day Childcare Integrated Support Team has been jointly organized and operated by the Chungnam Provincial Office of Education, Chungcheongnam-do, and the Chungnam Social Service Center, based on the "Chungnam All-Day Childcare Integrated Support Ordinance," which was enacted and implemented on July 20, 2021.
The integrated support team aims to create a childcare environment where work and family life can be harmoniously balanced. To achieve this, the three organizations hold regular working-level meetings to strengthen connections with the local community and enhance the effectiveness of childcare policies.
At the working council held that day, a variety of agenda items were discussed, including: sharing of tasks among childcare organizations; operational outcomes of the Chungnam All-Day Village After-School Program (Himssen Chungnam Village Childcare Center); support measures for the Basic Neulbom Council; working-level consultations on elementary school childcare operations; and reports on the progress of projects and measures to vitalize childcare services.
Jung Eunyoung, Director of the Elementary and Special Education Division at the Provincial Office of Education, stated, "It is most important to create an environment where children can grow up safely and happily through close cooperation between out-of-school childcare facilities and the local community," and added, "We will continue to do our best, with the integrated support team at the center, to address gaps in childcare and provide tailored support for out-of-school Neulbom classrooms in connection with local governments."
Meanwhile, as of 2025, a total of 357 out-of-school childcare facilities are operating in Chungnam, serving 9,304 students who are utilizing childcare services.
