Daejin University Selected for 2025 Media Promotion Fund Planning and Reporting Support Project
Recognized for Public-Interest Based Content Planning Capabilities
Daejin University (President Jang Seokhwan) announced on the 11th that it has been selected for the '2025 Media Promotion Fund Planning and Reporting Support Project (2nd round)' organized by the Korea Press Foundation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
This selection is significant as it officially recognizes the university's capability in producing public-interest and in-depth planned content, highlighting the university-level media planning abilities within the institutional framework.
This project is an annual program run by the Korea Press Foundation to support public-interest planning and reporting activities by media organizations and related entities. Selected institutions receive partial funding for the production of planned content for news reporting purposes. Through this project, Daejin University has secured a foundation to produce and distribute university-led planning and reporting content.
This selection is also closely related to the long-standing tradition of Daejin University's regularly published newspaper, 'Daejindae Newspaper.' The fact that the university has consistently maintained the format of a 'newspaper,' a medium classified as a traditional press outlet, is regarded as evidence of the university's diligence and professionalism in media operations. The steady efforts of student reporters belonging to the newspaper are believed to have been positively reflected in the evaluation of the planning and reporting project.
The theme of the selected proposal for this project is 'Border Region Universities in 2025: What Is the Future of Increasing Foreign Student Enrollment?'
