Hyosung Donates 100 Million KRW to Improve Housing for War Veterans
Annual Support for the "Love for Country Shelter" Project Since 2012
Hyosung announced on June 10 that it had delivered a donation of 100 million KRW to Army Headquarters for the 'Love for Country Shelter' project in recognition of Patriots and Veterans Month in June.
The 'Love for Country Shelter' project is a joint initiative led by Army Headquarters, bringing together the military, government, and private sector to improve the welfare and honor of war veterans. Hyosung has supported the 'Love for Country Shelter' project every year since 2012.

View original imageThe donation will be used to build and repair homes for veterans of the Korean War and the Vietnam War who are living in poor housing conditions. In addition, rental housing costs will be provided for veterans without homes who are recipients of basic living subsidies or belong to low-income groups.

Hyosung has carried out various social contribution activities for those who have dedicated and sacrificed themselves for the country. In May, ahead of Patriots and Veterans Month, employees visited the Seoul National Cemetery to participate in grave maintenance activities. The company also supported a spring outing for national merit recipients in cooperation with the Seoul Southern Veterans Affairs Office, and sponsored a concert for national merit recipients and their families who are hospitalized at the Central Veterans Hospital.
