Police Close Sexual Assault Case Involving Former Lawmaker Jang Jewon, Citing No Right of Prosecution
The police have closed the sexual assault case involving the late former People Power Party lawmaker Jang Jewon, citing "no right of prosecution due to the suspect's death."

View original imageThe Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on June 10 that it has reached this conclusion regarding the case in which Jang was accused of causing injury during rape.
Jang was under police investigation after being accused of sexually assaulting his secretary in November 2015, when he was serving as vice president at a university in Busan. He was found dead on March 31 in an officetel in Gangdong District, Seoul.
