Guri City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor: Baek Kyunghyun) announced on June 9 that it will operate the "2025 Guri City Baby Boomer Happiness Campus - Certificate Program" to enhance the life satisfaction of middle-aged and baby boomer residents, and to provide opportunities for a new chapter in life and social participation.
The city will offer courses in "Well-Dying Instructor (Level 2)" and "Oriental Flower Tea Sommelier (Beginner)." Registration is open from June 9 to June 18 on a first-come, first-served basis through the Guri City Lifelong Learning Center website and the integrated reservation portal. Eligible applicants are residents of Guri City who are registered with the city and are between the ages of 40 and 65.
Baek Kyunghyun, Mayor of Guri City, stated, "The Guri City Baby Boomer Happiness Campus is a project that supports middle-aged residents in preparing for the second act of their lives by providing high-quality, professional education in cooperation with universities. We hope this program will serve as a stepping stone for our citizens to pursue new dreams."
