Chungnam, Sejong, and Jeonbuk Join Hands to Promote Tourism in the Western Inland Region

View original imageChungnam Province announced on June 5 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Sejong City and Jeonbuk Province to promote tourism in the Western Inland Region.
The agreement includes the development of linked tourism courses and products for the Western Inland Region, joint marketing initiatives, and the exchange of information and personnel to build a regional tourism ecosystem.
From June 5 to June 8, the province is participating in the '2025 Seoul International Tourism Expo' at COEX in Seoul, operating an integrated promotion booth for the Western Inland Region together with Jeonbuk Province and Sejong City.
At the integrated promotion booth, planned under the theme 'Experience the Charms of the Western Inland Region at a Glance,' major tourist attractions of the region are being introduced, including Seongji Hyeyum-gil, Sinabro Healing-gil, Bidan Garam On-gil, and the Modern Cultural Heritage-gil.
Kim Beomsoo, Director of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Chungnam Province, said, "Joint participation in the expo is a meaningful opportunity for the three metropolitan governments in the Western Inland Region to transcend regional boundaries and realize the establishment of an integrated tourism zone," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that the Western Inland Region is established as a single tourism hub and develops a sustainable tourism ecosystem."
