Kyungbok University Selected as Regional Innovation-Centered University... Receives 10 Billion Won Over 5 Years
Kyungbok University has been finally selected for Gyeonggi Province's 'Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE)' project.
As a result of this selection, Kyungbok University will receive a total of 10 billion won in government, provincial, and municipal funding over five years starting in 2025. The university will serve as a hub for innovation and growth, as well as sharing and cooperation, in Gyeonggi Province and Namyangju City.
The specific areas of the project include: ▲ Training professionals in health, welfare, and beauty fields with AI·DX and AI·DX competencies ▲ Creating value by providing technical guidance and supporting technological innovation for local industries ▲ Establishing regional innovation partnerships through the KBU AI·DX GAIA Center ▲ Spreading entrepreneurship culture and building a startup cluster ▲ Strengthening the competencies of employees according to corporate demand ▲ Supporting a Two track program for foreign students to settle in the region.
