This remodeling project was carried out to address capacity limitations, as the total operating rate of funeral halls at Kyowon Yeoum Gangwon Funeral Hall has averaged over 90% since 2022.

View original imageThe remodeling focused on expanding the number of funeral halls and improving the overall space. By utilizing previously unused areas, the number of funeral halls was increased from six to eight, and the entire layout was reorganized to allow for more comfortable and flexible funeral services. In particular, the two newly added funeral halls are designed as smaller spaces to accommodate the rising demand for family-centered, small-scale funerals. These two halls can also be combined to serve as a medium-sized funeral hall.
Additionally, a guest room was installed as an independent lounge for long-distance visitors and bereaved families, and various amenities such as showers, restrooms, heating and cooling systems, and bedding were provided.
