View original imageSK Happiness Sharing Foundation, the social contribution foundation of SK Group (Chairperson Choi Ki-won), announced on the 29th that it will hold a "Talk Concert with Parents of Visually Impaired Children" together with the Korea Braille Education Institute (CEO Kim Dongbok) as part of the "Braille Literacy Improvement Project for Visually Impaired Children."
The Braille Literacy Improvement Project for Visually Impaired Children is a social change initiative led by the Sesang File Team of the Happiness Sharing Foundation since 2020. The project develops braille learning materials and teaching aids for visually impaired children aged 6 to 13 and provides systematic braille education.
So far, the project has developed "Jump JUMP," the nation's first daily braille learning material, and has provided education to 154 visually impaired children across the country. It has also conducted educational programs for parents.

View original imageThis talk concert was organized under the theme "Is My Child Getting Along Well with the World?" Focusing on "relationships," which is one of the main concerns for parents raising visually impaired children, the event will share various stories and challenges that children experience with peers, romantic partners, and within family relationships, and will suggest the roles that parents can play. The talk concert will be held in a total of three sessions, with the first session already completed.

The second and third sessions of the talk concert will be held on June 24 and July 23, respectively. The second session will focus on the topic of children's "romantic relationships," which often raise questions and concerns for parents, while the third session will address "family relationships," including those between parents and children and among siblings.
