Cheongyang County Discusses Advancement of "Cheongyang-type Da-Dolbom" Project... Expansion of Customized Care Services
Cheongyang County in South Chungcheong Province has organized a discussion session to advance the "Cheongyang-type Da-Dolbom" project, which is being promoted to provide customized care services to all residents.
On May 28, Cheongyang County announced that it had held an "Administrative Task Force Workshop for the Advancement of Cheongyang-type Da-Dolbom" in the main conference room of the county office. During the workshop, participants focused on discussing strategies to expand and implement services in various sectors, including family care, health care, food care, and community care.
The "Cheongyang-type Da-Dolbom" is a welfare policy introduced by the county to establish an inclusive care system tailored to rural areas. Since 2022, it has been promoted in connection with the Rural Agreement Project to supplement the limitations of existing public care. This project is scheduled to conclude in 2026.
During the workshop, the county also discussed establishing an institutional foundation to ensure a sustainable care ecosystem even after the conclusion of the Rural Agreement Project.
The Regional Revitalization Center, which hosted the workshop, serves as the implementing agency for the Rural Central Area Revitalization Project. The center provided practical advice and implementation plans to help establish a Da-Dolbom model that reflects the unique characteristics of Cheongyang.
A county official stated, "The Cheongyang-type Da-Dolbom is a system that provides inclusive care without discrimination to everyone," and added, "We will continue to strengthen the institutional foundation so that it can become a new standard for community care."
