Korea Forestry Promotion Institute Recruiting Trainees for Wood Production Industry Training This Month
The Korea Forestry Promotion Institute announced on the 26th that it is recruiting trainees for the '2025 2nd Wood Production Industry (Sawmilling) Training', which will be held from the 26th to the 30th.
The number of trainees to be recruited is 100. Applications are open not only to those working in the wood production industry (Sawmilling Types 1 to 4), but also to anyone wishing to acquire specialized knowledge related to the production and processing of wood products.
The training is a legally mandated program designed to cultivate essential wood-related expertise required for producing wood products. It will be held over a total of 35 hours from June 16th to 20th.
The curriculum includes wood industry policy, safety management, quality control of wood products, common theories by business type, and practical training at industrial sites. In order to complete the program, trainees must attend at least 90% of the total training hours.

Choi Muyeol, President of the Korea Forestry Promotion Institute, stated, "Through this training, we aim to foster professionals in the wood production industry, alleviate workforce shortages on the ground, and contribute to the revitalization of wood distribution."
