Man in His 40s Arrested for Assaulting Kim Moonsoo’s People Power Party Campaign Worker
An arrest warrant has been issued for a man in his 40s who assaulted an election campaign worker for Kim Moonsoo, the People Power Party's presidential candidate.
According to the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency on May 26, Bundang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province arrested a man identified as A on charges of interfering with election campaigning. The arrest warrant was issued on May 23.
A is accused of assaulting campaign staff for the People Power Party candidate and disrupting a campaign speech by climbing onto a campaign vehicle at Yatap Station Square in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, at around 18:48 on May 20.
