Concert to Mark 60th Anniversary of Korea-Japan Diplomatic Ties to Be Held in Tokyo
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan, a special concert titled 'Korea-Japan Friendly Concert' will be held in Tokyo on May 31, featuring leading actors from both countries sharing the stage.
This performance is an official program in collaboration with the 'Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2025,' the largest international short film festival in Asia. The event aims to further enrich cultural exchange between Korea and Japan through film, music, and stage arts.

From Korea, Yoo Junsang and Oh Manseok will participate, while Asaka Manato, Kato Kazuki, and festival director and actor Bessho Tetsuya will represent Japan. The music director is Miyazaki Makoto. The concert will take place at the Takanawa Gateway City Convention Center in Tokyo and will be held twice in total.
On June 1, a K-Shorts special screening event will be held. The screening will feature three Korean short films shown locally in Japan. The short drama 'October Incident,' starring singer Lim Youngwoong, will be presented, and 'Tranquility Is Not in the Calm,' directed by and starring Yoo Junsang, will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience. The event will be hosted by Tachiko Chikayo, a leading expert in Korean Wave content in Japan.
