View original imageThe Jeonnam Home Daycare Association, along with 1,190 home daycare associations nationwide, declared their support for Democratic Party candidate Lee Jaemyung. The associations made their official endorsement announcement at Lee Jaemyung's Naju campaign office on the afternoon of the 23rd.
The endorsement event was attended by Shin Kyungok, President of the Jeonnam Home Daycare Association; Lee Mira, President of the Gyeongnam Home Daycare Association; Lee Suhyun, President of the Gwangju Home Daycare Association; and numerous other regional association representatives. Shin Jeonghoon, head of the Democratic Party's Central Organization Headquarters and a National Assembly member representing Naju and Hwasun in Jeonnam, also attended, held a meeting, and received the endorsement statement.
In the endorsement statement, the Jeonnam Home Daycare Association emphasized, "Now is the time when we need a leader who can strengthen the public nature and professionalism of childcare, and implement practical policies for the stable operation of small-scale childcare institutions and the creation of a high-quality childcare environment." The association evaluated Lee Jaemyung as "the figure who has most clearly demonstrated both a vision and a willingness to take action to strengthen the state's responsibility for childcare."
Lee Jaemyung is highly trusted as a leader who has consistently listened to voices from the childcare field, presenting concrete and feasible field-oriented policies such as protecting the rights and improving the treatment of childcare staff, expanding the foundation for public childcare, and strengthening the childcare ecosystem in connection with local communities.
This endorsement was joined not only by Jeonnam, but also by home daycare associations from Gumi, Daegu, Gyeongnam, and Gwangju, with a total of 1,190 home daycare centers officially expressing their support for Lee Jaemyung.
Shin Jeonghoon, head of the Democratic Party's Central Election Committee Organization Headquarters, emphasized, "We will continue to do our best with candidate Lee Jaemyung to ensure that voices from the childcare field are realized in policy, and to build a Republic of Korea where every child can grow up fairly and healthily."
