View original imageAccording to the police and fire authorities, the fire started at around 3:51 a.m. in the piloti parking lot on the first floor of the officetel and was completely extinguished by 4:20 a.m., about 30 minutes later. A total of 35 reports were received regarding this fire.
As a result of the fire, three men sustained minor injuries, and a total of eight people were transported to the hospital, including five out of twenty who had inhaled smoke. Fortunately, there were no reports of serious injuries.
Seventy-five residents who lived in the building evacuated urgently; among them, ten were rescued by the fire department, while sixty-five managed to escape on their own.
Due to the fire, seven vehicles and one motorcycle parked in the parking lot were burned, and part of the building's exterior wall was scorched, resulting in property damage.
Upon receiving the report, the fire authorities dispatched forty-one vehicles and 105 personnel, successfully extinguishing the fire by around 4:20 a.m. that day.
The police detected evidence of arson at the scene and urgently arrested a suspect in his 60s.

A fire department official stated, "Although it was early in the morning, the evacuation was carried out quickly, which minimized casualties," and added, "Special attention is needed to the management of electrical installations and combustible materials in parking lots to prevent fires."
