Gathering Small Acts of Kindness to Share Warmth
The Jeonggwan-eup Sports Association in Gijang County, Busan, has taken the lead in sharing warmth with the local low-income community.
The Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center (headed by Mayor Song Youngjong) announced on the 21st that on the 18th, the Jeonggwan-eup Sports Association (President Park Bugun) donated two hearing aids, ten sacks of rice, and 2 million won in cash to support low-income residents in the area.

View original imageThis donation was made possible through funds raised at the recent inauguration ceremony of the association's president, as well as sponsorships from local companies Hidden Hearing Aid and Jeonggwan Haengbok Hearing Aid.
President Park Bugun stated, "Although it is a small gesture, we prepared this with the hope that it will be of some help to neighbors in need," and added, "We will continue to engage in various activities for the local community in the future."
Mayor Song Youngjong expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply thank the Jeonggwan-eup Sports Association for practicing neighborly love and the local companies for their cooperation. The donated goods and funds will be carefully delivered to residents who truly need them."
The Jeonggwan-eup Sports Association has set an example for the community by consistently carrying out various volunteer activities for the underprivileged and promoting sports initiatives in the region.
