"Green Growth Support Program Guide"... Government to Hold Regional On-Site Briefing Sessions
Joint Briefing Sessions Hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Ministry of Environment, and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy
On May 21, the government announced that it will hold a total of three regional on-site briefing sessions by May 29, jointly organized by relevant ministries and affiliated agencies, to provide information on each ministry's green growth support programs for the industrial sector.
The purpose of these briefing sessions is to comprehensively introduce the government's green growth support programs so that domestic companies can respond promptly to international environmental regulations and secure green competitiveness.
The sessions will be held by region, starting in the Honam region (Yeosu, May 22), followed by the Yeongnam region (Ulsan, May 27), and the Seoul metropolitan area (Seoul, May 29).
At the briefing sessions, program managers from three ministries?Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Ministry of Environment, and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy?as well as eight affiliated agencies, will introduce the support programs currently operated by their respective organizations. Representatives from affiliated agencies will explain the target companies, support details, and application procedures. After the briefing sessions, one-on-one consultations on support programs will be provided to participating companies.
A total of 17 support programs will be introduced. By type, these include six government subsidy programs, five financial support programs, three consulting programs, one demonstration support program, one education program, and one policy program.

The government expects that, by providing information on support programs from each ministry in one place through these briefing sessions, companies will be able to identify the programs they need from a comprehensive perspective and proceed with the necessary application procedures.
