Jang emphasized, "The Korean economy is currently facing the complex challenge of structural low growth," and pointed out, "Factors such as global supply chain instability, geopolitical risks, uncertainties stemming from high exchange rates and high tariffs, and demographic changes are gradually weakening the growth engine of our economy." However, he stressed, "If we actively seek out and implement various tasks, including innovative finance, digitalization, fostering new industries, and trust-based regulatory innovation, the Korean economy and financial industry can once again embark on a new trajectory of growth."
