Geochang County Holds 2nd Integrity Improvement Measures Report Meeting
Discussion on the Direction of Integrity Policy Promotion Led by the County Governor
Senior Officials Urged to Take the Lead
Geochang County announced on the 21st that it held the 2nd Integrity Improvement Measures Report Meeting in the county office situation room, presided over by County Governor Koo Inmo, with the participation of the Deputy Governor, department heads, heads of affiliated organizations, and other senior officials.
The meeting was convened to secure momentum for the implementation of integrity policies and to develop improvement measures for areas vulnerable to corruption. At the previous 1st report meeting, participants analyzed the results of the 2024 Comprehensive Integrity Assessment and shared the 2025 anti-corruption and integrity promotion plan.
During the 2nd report meeting, participants discussed more specific action strategies and improvement measures for vulnerable areas, including the implementation of department head integrity calls and the collection of opinions to enhance integrity. They also reviewed the progress of integrity promotion plans developed according to the characteristics of each department.
Governor Koo Inmo stated, "Integrity is a fundamental attitude for public officials," and urged senior officials to take the lead in improving Geochang County's integrity and spreading a culture of integrity within the organization.
Meanwhile, Geochang County plans to conduct integrity education on the 23rd to strengthen employees' awareness of integrity, and on the 28th, to hold an integrity campaign led by the integrity club 'Cheongarim' to promote mutual respect, communication, and a culture of integrity. The county will continue to implement a variety of integrity initiatives.
