Gwangyang City Implements 'Priority Reservation System' for Gwangyang Citizens at Baegunsan Natural Recreation Forest

On May 19, Gwangyang City in South Jeolla Province announced that it will implement the "Baegunsan Natural Recreation Forest Priority Reservation System for Gwangyang Citizens" to enhance convenience for local residents during the peak summer season.
The "Priority Reservation System for Gwangyang Citizens" is a policy that offers Gwangyang residents a priority reservation opportunity for a certain period for select accommodations in the Baegunsan Natural Recreation Forest.

View original imageThe eligible rooms include five Forest Houses, three Cabin Houses, four rooms in the Comprehensive Accommodation Building, five rooms in the Forest Culture Recreation Center, and one Caravan, totaling 18 rooms. During the peak summer season, from July 2 to August 31, each person may reserve one room for up to two nights and three days.
Priority reservation applications will be accepted from May 21 to 27. Starting May 28, reservations will switch to the usual first-come, first-served system open to all citizens nationwide.
Shim Hyunwoo, head of the Gwangyang City Recreation Forest Division, stated, "I am pleased that more local residents will be able to use the Baegunsan Natural Recreation Forest through the citizen priority reservation system," and added, "We will continue to strive to provide even better forest welfare services to our citizens in the future."
