On the day of the event, free examinations were provided in four medical departments: ophthalmology, internal medicine, orthopedics, and Korean medicine. In particular, an international clinic was operated for multicultural families and foreign workers, providing borderless medical support.
On General Hospital, which co-hosted the event, has been operating a horse therapy program with Let’s Run Park Busan Gyeongnam for four years to help with physical and mental healing through human-horse interaction. Around 50 staff members from the Green Doctors Foundation and the hospital participated in the event to support on-site medical services.
One visitor who received a checkup said, "I have always paid attention to my health management due to diabetes, and it was a valuable experience to receive a free checkup while visiting Let’s Run Park." The event offered not only basic health screenings such as blood pressure and blood sugar checks, but also specialized consultations and prescriptions when necessary.
Um Youngseok, Director of the Busan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, stated, "We organized this medical sharing event to express our gratitude and support to local residents," and added, "We will continue to build a society where we live together through ongoing communication and sharing with the local community."
