Woorimzipam: "Woorimzi ENC Wins First 5 Billion KRW Order for Youth Smart Farm Glass Greenhouse Construction"
On May 16, Woorimzipam announced that its subsidiary, Woorimzi ENC, had signed a contract worth approximately 5 billion KRW with Mani Farm, an agricultural products producer, to construct a youth smart farm glass greenhouse in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do.
Woorimzi ENC is a subsidiary in which Woorimzipam, a company specializing in smart farm solutions, holds a 51% stake. Based on its accumulated know-how in operating smart farms, Woorimzipam established Woorimzi ENC to provide one-stop solutions for every stage, from construction to operation of smart farms.
Currently, Woorimzi ENC is not only engaged in smart farm construction but has also expanded into consulting businesses, including system configuration, basic design, and the establishment of sales networks.
This contract marks the first project order received from an external client. Since its establishment, Woorimzi ENC has already completed the construction of a new greenhouse for Woorimzipam, utilizing the latest European horticultural technology, the MGS (Mobile Gully System, an automated facility).
The company expects this contract to be an important turning point for expanding into the global market. Woorimzipam, the parent company, is already expanding its presence from the Middle Eastern markets, such as the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia, to Southeast Asian markets, including Vietnam. Woorimzi ENC plans to first seek additional domestic clients and is currently conducting active sales activities to secure more glass greenhouse contracts.
