At sites where trees unable to survive due to fire damage had been left unattended, they worked manually to restore wide areas, sweating as they labored.
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education planned this volunteer activity not only for physical restoration, but also to demonstrate a responsible attitude as a public institution by sharing in the community's hardships and participating in its recovery.
Jang Jungchan, Director of the Administrative Division at the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, said, "This activity is not just a one-time volunteer event, but a practical example of educational administration working in harmony with the local community. We will continue to faithfully fulfill our role as a public institution that coexists with the community through various forms of social contribution activities."
