Expressing Appreciation to Citizens and Uniformed Public Officials
In celebration of Family Month, Changwon Special City held the Navy concert "Thank you, heroes" at Jinhae Art Hall, inviting families and citizens to enjoy the event together.
The event, held on May 14, was organized to express gratitude to uniformed public officials such as police officers, firefighters, and coast guard personnel who dedicate themselves to the safety of the local community. It also aimed to provide an opportunity for warm interaction with citizens.
The concert was hosted by the Navy and sponsored by Changwon Special City, with support from Jinhae District and the Navy Jinhae Base Command. This marked the first time the event was held through their collaboration.
The program featured a variety of performances, including the Navy band’s grand and melodious music, a magic show, and a musical performance, all of which received an enthusiastic response from the audience. In particular, popular idol Taeyong of NCT, who is currently serving as a Navy soldier, hosted the event and further energized the atmosphere.
Additionally, there was a segment introducing heartwarming family stories, providing attendees with unforgettable memories and touching moments.
Jang Geumyong, acting mayor of Changwon Special City, stated, "This concert was a special occasion to express our gratitude to citizens and uniformed public officials," adding, "We will continue to organize cultural events that everyone in the community can relate to and enjoy."
