Masanhappo District of Changwon Special City Sends Integrity Letter to Over 1,200 Recipients
A Letter Conveying Respect and Responsibility
to Civil Petition Recipients
On May 14, the Masanhappo District Office of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam sent an Integrity Letter, signed by the district chief, to 1,209 external petitioners.
This initiative is part of the "Masanhappo-gu Integrity Improvement Promotion" and serves as a concrete action to enhance external integrity and strengthen transparency in the handling of civil petitions.
The letter will be delivered to petitioners who, in 2024, experienced contract, subsidy, tax administration, or licensing services in Masanhappo-gu. The methods of delivery include text messages (436 recipients), email (511 recipients), and postal mail (246 recipients).
The letter expresses gratitude for cooperation in civil affairs and conveys Masanhappo-gu's commitment to clean and friendly administration. In particular, it includes guidance on reporting procedures in case any inconvenience or suspected corruption is encountered during the petition process.
Park Dongjin, Chief of Masanhappo District Office, stated, "Integrity is the foundation of administration and the starting point of citizens' trust," adding, "With the delivery of this letter, we will further build trust with external petitioners and continue to spread a culture of clean and friendly administration."
