Incheon Sky Water Quality Inspection... All Items Meet Drinking Water Standards
The Incheon Metropolitan Waterworks Headquarters announced on May 14 that last year’s water quality inspection of the city’s tap water, “Incheon Sky Water,” confirmed that all tested items met the drinking water standards.
All legally mandated inspection items, including residual chlorine and total coliform bacteria, were either not detected or remained within the standard limits. In addition, all aesthetic impact substances (such as copper and zinc, a total of six items) and harmful inorganic substances (ammonia nitrogen) were also found to be within safe levels.
This water quality inspection was conducted periodically at 199 water supply points selected based on the population served in each of Incheon’s 10 districts and counties, amounting to a total of 2,568 tests. The results of the water quality inspections can be accessed through the websites of the Incheon Metropolitan Waterworks Headquarters and the National Waterworks Information System of the Ministry of Environment.
