Hanul Headquarters to Hold Resident Briefing on Environmental Radioactivity Survey Results
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Seyong) will hold the "2024 Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters Environmental Radioactivity Survey Results Resident Briefing" at the Uljin Deokgu Hot Spring Hotel on May 16.
This briefing will be hosted by the Radiation Science Research Institute at Kyungpook National University (Director Lee Seuk), the survey agency. The results of the environmental radioactivity survey, conducted on samples collected from areas near Hanul Nuclear Power Plant, will be disclosed. Local residents, media, and members of the Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Environmental Monitoring Committee will attend the event.
The survey covered a total of 764 samples, including 682 samples collected from 18 locations around Hanul Headquarters (such as Bugu, Jukbyeon, and Maehwa) and 82 samples jointly collected with the participation of local residents.
