Increase in Consumer Spending Ahead of Tropical Nights
Today’s House announced on May 13 that searches for cooling products, which can help reduce heat during summer nights, have increased more than eightfold over the past month in preparation for the upcoming heat waves.
According to Today’s House, searches related to cooling products have risen by 8.4 times (approximately 741%) in the past month. In particular, demand has grown across various sleep-related items, including cooling pads (803%), cooling blankets (303%), cooling body pillows (187%), and cooling pillow covers (230%).
In addition to sleep products, fabric items that help block summer heat?such as cooling sofa pads (83%), cooling cushions (55%), and cooling carpets (37%)?have also gained popularity. This trend is attributed to increased interest in improving sleep environments, as climate change is expected to bring another intense heatwave this summer.
