Seo Daehyun, Jeonnam Provincial Council Member, Joins "Wish for Success of Yeosu World Islands Expo" Challenge

View original imageSeo Daehyun, a member of the Jeonnam Provincial Council's Education Committee (Democratic Party of Korea, Yeosu 2), announced on May 12 that he participated in a relay challenge on May 9 to wish for the successful hosting of the "2026 Yeosu World Islands Expo."
This campaign is an online relay promotional event organized by the Yeosu World Islands Expo Organizing Committee to spread the value of the expo and build consensus among the residents of Jeollanam-do. Seo Daehyun participated after being nominated by Kim Jeonghee, Chairperson of the Jeonnam Provincial Council's Education Committee.
Seo Daehyun stated, "The 2026 Yeosu World Islands Expo is a meaningful event that will highlight Jeollanam-do's unique island culture and abundant marine resources on an international stage. I hope this expo will serve as an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of islands and sustainable development, and that we can learn how nature and culture can coexist harmoniously."
He added, "The Education Committee of the Provincial Council will also do its utmost to support the expo by working closely with the educational field, so that it can provide a special learning experience for students in Jeollanam-do," and called for active interest and participation from residents.
Seo Daehyun nominated Ju Jongseop (Yeosu 6, Economic, Tourism and Culture Committee) and Choi Dongik (Proportional Representation, Agriculture and Fisheries Committee), both members of the Jeonnam Provincial Council, as the next participants in the challenge.
