Gyeonggi Office of Education to Host Forums on Future Education Discourse: Gyeonggi Future Curriculum Series
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold a series of forums on the Gyeonggi Future Curriculum under the theme "From Equity to Fairness: Encountering the Gyeonggi Future Curriculum."
On May 12, the Office announced that it will organize a series of four forums on May 13 and 27, as well as June 11 and 24. These forums aim to summarize the discussions that have taken place so far regarding the Gyeonggi Future Curriculum, explore practical directions for implementation in schools, and focus on policy directions for curricula to support future education.
Each forum will be attended by academic experts in the field of curriculum, as well as approximately 200 in-service teachers per session, totaling around 800 participants.
The forum will cover four main topics: ▲The Power That Moves Schools: Curriculum ▲Turning Students' Lives into Learning ▲Learning Through Assessment ▲Restoring the Essence of Education. Each session will feature in-depth discussions on fair and flexible future-oriented curriculum operation strategies that support student growth.

An official from the Office stated, "Through the operation of the Gyeonggi Future Curriculum forum series, we plan to comprehensively address discourse on future education and practical measures for implementation in schools," adding, "We will make every effort to ensure that the voices from the field proposed during the forums are effectively reflected in the establishment of Gyeonggi's future education policies."
