Cloudy Skies on Sunday, Temperatures Rising Up to 23 Degrees
Meteorological Administration Advises Caution for Traffic Safety and Reduced Speeds
Over the weekend, Gwangju and the Jeonnam region are expected to remain mostly cloudy with light rain.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, on Saturday, May 10, the area will be cloudy due to the influence of a low-pressure system moving northeast over the northern East Sea, with less than 0.1 mm of raindrops expected from early morning to late morning. Morning temperatures are forecast to range from 11 to 13 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs are expected to be between 16 and 19 degrees Celsius.
On the following day, May 11, the region will gradually come out from under the influence of the low-pressure system, resulting in mostly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise to 23 degrees Celsius, higher than the previous day.
An official from the Meteorological Administration advised, "In areas where rain falls, visibility may be reduced and some roads may become slippery, so please drive at reduced speeds and maintain safe distances to ensure traffic safety."
