WSI Subsidiary EasyMediBot Participates in Bio Korea 2025 Pitching Event

View original imageThis event, hosted by Chungcheongbuk-do and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, is the largest networking platform for the bio industry in Korea. Startups recognized as industry leaders through multiple recommendations from the sector are invited to present.
At Bio Korea, held at COEX in Seoul from May 7 to today, EasyMediBot introduced the development status and launch preparation of its uterine elevator, 'U-BOT.' Sooyoung Kim, head of the EasyMediBot Research Institute, gave a presentation to domestic and international investors, drawing significant attention.
Marking its 20th anniversary this year, Bio Korea attracted participation from over 200 bio companies, including global pharmaceutical and medical device firms such as Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer. In addition, 118 innovative bio startups took part, garnering interest from investors both in Korea and abroad. This international event has established itself as a venue for sharing the latest trends in the biohealth industry and creating new business opportunities.
A company representative stated, "We have confirmed strong market interest in U-BOT," and added, "We will strengthen our presence in the global medical device market, focusing on the medical robotics business."

Meanwhile, EasyMediBot aims to launch its 'U-BOT' for gynecological laparoscopic surgery first, followed by the 'B-BOT' for brain surgery and 'E-BOT' for skull base procedures by 2026, and the 'C-BOT' for cardiovascular applications by 2028.
