through the Use of "Glocal University 30 B-Heritage" Cultural Content
Dong-A University has launched an initiative to enhance the global recognition of Busan by utilizing "B-Heritage cultural content."
Dong-A University, together with Dongseo University Glocal Union College, has signed an agreement for the "Glocal University 30 B-Heritage Academic Exchange" with four leading local cultural heritage institutions: Beomeosa Seongbo Museum, Busan Cultural Foundation, Busan Museum, and Busan Modern and Contemporary History Museum.

View original imageThe signing ceremony, held at the Seokdang Museum of Dong-A University on May 8, was attended by Lee Haewoo, President of Dong-A University; Jang Jeguk, President of Dongseo University; Monk Jeong-O, Chief Abbot of Beomeosa Temple and Director of Seongbo Museum; Oh Jaehwan, CEO of the Busan Cultural Foundation; Jeong Eunwoo, Director of the Busan Museum; Kim Kiyong, Director of the Busan Modern and Contemporary History Museum; and about 40 representatives from each institution.
Through this agreement, Dong-A University, Dongseo University, and the four local cultural heritage institutions will join forces to ensure the successful operation of the "Glocal University 30 B-Heritage" network. They will collaborate on academic exchange and network strengthening through B-Heritage investigation, research, utilization, and cooperation, as well as promote field internships related to B-Heritage.
President Lee Haewoo stated, "I hope that Dong-A University and Dongseo University Glocal Union College, together with Beomeosa Seongbo Museum, Busan Cultural Foundation, Busan Museum, and Busan Modern and Contemporary History Museum, will successfully establish a collaborative system between local institutions and universities." He added, "I also hope this agreement will serve as a foundation for cooperation, enabling the successful branding of 'Glocal University B-Heritage cultural content,' and become a stepping stone for mutual growth and sustainable development between local cultural heritage institutions and universities."
