Man in His Twenties Arrested for Injuring Citizens with Weapon... "Risk of Flight"
A man in his twenties who injured citizens by wielding a weapon while walking around the streets was arrested by police on May 8.
On the afternoon of the same day, Lee Jungjae, the chief judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court, conducted a pretrial detention hearing for Song, who is under suspicion of special assault and other charges, and issued an arrest warrant, citing concerns that he may attempt to flee.
According to the police, Song is suspected of injuring citizens by wielding scissors, a ballpoint pen, and other objects at a bus stop and a restaurant in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, at around 10:20 a.m. on May 6.
