BC Card Expands Voucher Acceptance... "Capturing Both Welfare and Eco-Friendly Benefits"
Emart24 Now Included Starting This Month
On May 8, BC Card announced that it has expanded the number of merchants where the government's 'goods purchase voucher' can be used.
The goods purchase voucher is a national welfare program that allows low-income and vulnerable groups to purchase designated items at approved merchants with government support. It is available through the Kookmin Haengbok Card.
The Kookmin Haengbok Card provides benefits when paying for various welfare services such as pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare. When linked with the goods purchase voucher, users can receive overlapping benefits.
In particular, when purchasing eco-friendly certified products (such as diapers, formula, and feminine hygiene products) with a Kookmin Haengbok Card that includes the Green Card function, the amount is automatically deducted within the voucher limit.
Eco Money points can also be accumulated. This allows users to enjoy both welfare and eco-friendly consumption benefits with a single card.
With this expansion of merchants, the goods purchase voucher can now be used not only at major convenience stores such as GS25, 7-Eleven, and CU, but also at Emart24 starting this month.
