Canola Flowers Along Jungnangcheon Present a Beautiful Spring Landscape
On May 2, the Dongdaemun District Office in Seoul (headed by Lee Pilhyeong) announced that canola flowers are in full bloom along the Jungnangcheon Stream, creating a spectacular sea of yellow blossoms.
The canola flowers were sown under the Jungnanggyo Bridge in March, and have recently come into full bloom, offering residents a beautiful spring landscape. This display of canola flowers can be enjoyed until early May.
An official from Dongdaemun District stated, "Starting with tulips, we are transforming Jungnangcheon into a place where flowers bloom in all four seasons," and added, "We will continue to tend the gardens with care so that more people can experience the small but certain happiness that flowers bring."
