Donghwa-myeon manages the planting area in cooperation with the Jangseong County Agricultural Technology Center, receiving regular technical guidance. The flower language of verbena is known to include "May your wishes come true," "family harmony," and "unity."
Jangseong County Governor Kim Hanjong, who visited the site, said, "I hope that the Verbena Festival, being held again this year, will provide warm memories and a time of rest for the residents."
The 2nd Donghwa Nara Verbena Festival is scheduled to be held at the end of June, coinciding with the verbena blooming season.
