20th Huabiao Film Awards Announced: Guo Fan Wins Best Director for "The Wandering Earth 2"
The 20th Huabiao Film Awards were announced on April 27 in Qingdao, Shandong Province. At this year's ceremony, ten films, including "Article 20," received the Outstanding Film Award.
In the individual categories, director Guo Fan won the Outstanding Director Award for the film "The Wandering Earth 2," while writers Dong Runian and Ying Luojia received the Outstanding Screenplay Award for "The Spring Festival Gala Must Go On." Zhang Yi won the Outstanding Actor Award for "Home Coming," and Hui Yinghong received the Outstanding Actress Award for "Love Never Ends."
Meanwhile, "YOLO 2," which achieved remarkable box office success in both domestic and international markets after the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, was awarded a Special Contribution Film Certificate by the China Film Administration.
