Support for New Facility Construction,
Technology Development and Demonstration for Automation Equipment
On April 24, Uljugun and Ulsan Technopark announced that they will implement the '2025 Youth Smart Farm Expansion and Support Project' to assist young farmers with smart agriculture.
This project aims to establish a smart farm industrial ecosystem for young farmers in Uljugun and to provide opportunities for job creation through smart farms that combine agriculture with advanced technology.
The support targets young people in Uljugun aged 18 or older and 45 or younger. Subsidies will be provided for building indoor farms of at least generation 1.5, which can control the growth environment using advanced technologies such as IoT, big data, and automation.
The project is divided into several categories: construction of new facilities, construction of large-scale facilities of at least 1,650 square meters (500 pyeong), support for scale-up (advancement) facilities, and support for technology development and demonstration for AI, big data, and automation equipment.
Additionally, after facility construction, the project will also connect support for securing stable sales channels for agricultural products produced in smart farms, including support for home shopping platforms and live commerce.
Applicants who wish to participate should download and complete the application form from the recruitment announcement section of Ulsan Technopark, and submit it by email to the person in charge by 1:00 p.m. on May 9.
