On April 24, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it had held the first meeting of the Urban and Architectural Joint Committee's delegated subcommittee, where it approved with modifications the district unit plan (revision) for the construction of long-term jeonse housing near 452-1 Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, in the Sadang Station area.
The site is located in the Sadang Station area, a transfer station for subway lines 2 and 4. In 2022, the area was designated as a district unit planning zone and a plan was established to promote the long-term jeonse housing project. However, a revision to the district unit plan was pursued to supply additional high-quality housing within the station area.

View original imageWith this decision, the area will be developed as a mixed-use complex with a floor area ratio of 675%, consisting of 322 residential units (including 110 long-term jeonse units) in a building with seven underground floors and 36 above-ground floors, as well as neighborhood living facilities and other local amenities, thereby strengthening the function of the station area. In addition, 50% of the long-term jeonse units will be designated as Mirinae Jib, providing newlywed couples with stable housing and opportunities for home ownership.
Furthermore, green spaces connecting neighborhood living facilities and community facilities will be created on the lower floors of the site. A public parking lot will be installed in the basement to alleviate parking shortages near Sadang Station and to help revitalize the local commercial district.
