In response to these changes in the event's scale, the headquarters set 'safety' as the top priority, strengthened the medical support system, operated shuttle buses for participants, reduced the number of promotional booths, and expanded the installation of safety fences. As a result, the event was successfully completed without a single safety incident.
In addition, the headquarters highlighted the significant contribution to promoting local agricultural products by offering complimentary tastings of Hapcheon Hwangto Korean beef and pork, and providing local agricultural specialties as prizes.
Kim Yuncheol, the county governor, stated, "This year, we achieved an unprecedented early registration closure with a record-high 13,207 participants, and the event was able to bring joy to many participants under clear skies. We will continue our efforts to make the event even better by reflecting the feedback shared at today's evaluation meeting."
