So far, about 500 people have taken part, reflecting enthusiastic interest from tourists.
The 'Cheongsando Moonlight Night Walk,' which allows visitors to enjoy the spring nights of Cheongsando, was held on April 26 and will take place again on May 3. Participation is available through advance registration on the festival's Instagram channel or at the on-site information booth. The 'Qi Bracelet Making' experience is scheduled for April 26-27 and May 3-4.
From April 21 to 26, the county is also offering free Wando specialty products to 100 out-of-town tourists who present a Cheongsando passenger ferry ticket. In addition, as part of the 'Wando Healing Pay' policy, the county is promoting tourism by offering up to 200,000 won in travel expense support based on spending at accommodations, restaurants, cafes, and specialty product stores.
A county official stated, "We will welcome visitors with even richer content during the remainder of the festival," and added, "We hope everyone finds healing in Cheongsando, Korea's representative slow city."
