Mr. Lee was apprehended by police in October last year on suspicion of attempting, but failing, to retrieve liquid marijuana hidden in a flower bed in a residential area of Seocho-gu, Seoul, using the so-called "throwing" method. Based on the National Forensic Service's test results showing a positive reaction for marijuana in Mr. Lee's hair, police have also been investigating whether he smoked or ingested marijuana.
