NH Investment & Securities announced on April 18 that it has donated 30 refrigerators to village communities in Danyang County, North Chungcheong Province.
On the same day, NH Investment & Securities held a refrigerator donation ceremony at the Danyang County Office, which was attended by Kim Seokchan, Vice President of NH Investment & Securities, and Kim Moongeun, Governor of Danyang County, among others.
Since 2019, NH Investment & Securities has been consistently running support programs for rural village communities across the country, such as village halls and senior centers. From 2019 to 2021, the company replaced outdated cooking facilities in rural village communities (senior centers and village halls) with electric stoves (induction cooktops), providing a total of 1,263 induction units. Since 2022, it has been donating around 350 refrigerators each year. This year, the company plans to deliver a total of 352 refrigerators to eight counties. This latest support for village communities is the second such initiative this year, following the first in March in Hampyeong County, South Jeolla Province.
